We have been selling and repairing computers in Kathmandu since 2005. Computer Service Nepal is our repair centre, and Computer Shop Nepal is our store for new laptops, desktops and parts.
Our story
Twenty years at the repair bench
Amass Computer started in 2005 with a simple idea. People in Kathmandu needed a shop that could sell them a good computer and fix it properly when something went wrong.
Over the years our work moved deeper into the machine. We went from replacing parts to repairing components, then to chip level and circuit level work on laptop motherboards. Today our CTEVT-certified team fixes faults that many shops send back unrepaired.
We still sell computers too. Through Computer Shop Nepal we offer laptops, gaming PCs, components, accessories and gaming laptops from Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer and MSI.

Deepak specialises in computer and laptop servicing, from slow performance and virus removal to hardware repair. If your device is acting up or just needs a tune-up, he will look at it and get it running like new.
Buddhi Chaudhary
Computer technician
Buddhi fixes hardware failures, software errors and system upgrades. He gives every device a thorough diagnosis and a quick, reliable fix at a fair price.
Our skills
The four levels we repair at
Basic level repair
Cracked screens, worn keyboards, weak batteries, broken hinges and software faults. We find common problems fast and fix them with tested parts.
Component level repair
We trace faults with a multimeter and replace the failed part, such as a battery, charging port, screen cable, keyboard or CPU fan, instead of the whole assembly.
Chip level repair
When a laptop will not power on or shows no display, the cause is often a single chip on the motherboard. We locate it and replace it with professional rework tools.
Circuit level repair
Burnt traces, liquid corrosion and shorted power rails need careful board work. We rebuild the circuit so core functions such as power, charging and display come back.
